Jason Plato has broken the silence, posting on X to thank fans for their support and tease that news is on the way.
Writing to his followers, Plato said:
“Hi all, im overwhelmed with your support. News coming soon.... Thank you all 🙏 JP”
It's Plato's first public comment since his 23 August statement, in which he said the manner of his departure from Plato Racing (now competing as CPRL) had left him unwilling to comment further “for the time being.” Plato was removed from his positions as CEO, Director and Team Principal at the team he founded, without warning, following an internal dispute TOCA said it was not privy to.
No further detail has been given on what the news will be. Plato followed the post with a short second message a few hours later, three purple hearts, without further comment.
