Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport are a BTCC independent outfit run by former Formula 1 driver and team principal Mark Blundell, operating out of Northwich, Cheshire. The team made their BTCC debut in 2020 in partnership with AmD Motorsport, before aligning with multiple-champions West Surrey Racing for the 2022 campaign to strengthen their technical programme. Backed by Laser Tools, one of the UK's leading professional hand tool suppliers, the outfit have grown steadily into genuine race-winners. Jake Hill claimed the team's most significant result to date when he won the 2024 BTCC Drivers' Championship, delivering the team their first title success. For 2026, the team field three-time champion Gordon Shedden and experienced campaigner Árón Taylor-Smith in Toyota Corolla GR Sport machinery, with ambitions to challenge at the front of both the drivers' and teams' standings.
