NAPA Racing UK

Operating under the Motorbase Performance banner, NAPA Racing UK are one of the most formidable outfits in the BTCC paddock. Founded in 2006 by David Bartrum in Sittingbourne, Kent, the team have built a reputation for extracting the maximum from Ford-powered machinery over two decades of competition. The squad claimed back-to-back Drivers' and Teams' Championships in 2024 and 2025 with Jake Hill and Ashley Sutton respectively, cementing their status as the dominant force in the modern era. Their 2025 title haul, a clean sweep of Drivers', Teams' and Manufacturers' titles, was the team's most complete season to date. For 2026 the team field four cars under the NAPA Auto Parts livery, running a quartet of highly experienced racers led by two-time champion Ashley Sutton. The season also brought a change of machinery, with the squad switching to a saloon version of the Ford Focus never sold in the UK. The move was made possible when a homologation rule permitting cars not currently sold in the UK - originally due for 2027 - was brought forward a year with unanimous approval from all teams and organisers TOCA. The distinctive yellow and blue colour scheme has become one of the most recognised sights in British motorsport.
