Speedworks Corolla Racing

Speedworks Motorsport are the team behind the Toyota Corolla GR Sport BTCC programme, and one of the most respected independent operations in British touring car racing. Founded in 2010 and based in Middlewich, Cheshire, they made their full-time BTCC debut in 2013 before growing steadily into title contenders. The team's crowning moment came in 2022 when Tom Ingram, their long-serving lead driver, won the Drivers' Championship after years of consistent front-running. That title validated years of careful development and cemented Speedworks' standing as a major force in the series. Running the Toyota Corolla GR Sport under the GR Sport Corolla Racing banner, Speedworks benefit from a strong manufacturer relationship with Toyota GB and are one of the few teams to develop and run their own car from the ground up. Their Middlewich base is home to a meticulous engineering operation that punches well above its weight relative to its size.
