Restart Racing

Restart Racing carry forward a storied history in the modern BTCC, operating from their base in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The team were originally known as BTC Racing, later running as Rich Energy BTC Racing, before rebranding as Restart Racing ahead of their switch to Hyundai machinery. Under their BTC Racing identity, the team became one of the series' top outfits, consistently challenging for race wins and podiums with drivers including Josh Cook and Jake Hill. The operation rebranded as Restart Racing ahead of their switch to Hyundai machinery for 2026, marking a new chapter in their professional development. Founded in 2000, the team have accumulated over two decades of BTCC experience and have never been far from the sharp end of the championship. For 2026 the Restart Racing brand represents a fresh identity, and the team are well-positioned to challenge at the front of the grid with experienced drivers and strong manufacturer support.
