Team VERTU

Run by the award-winning EXCELR8 Motorsport, Team VERTU are backed by one of the UK's largest motor retail groups. EXCELR8 entered the BTCC in 2018 and rapidly grew into championship contenders, earning their first major drivers' titles in 2022 and 2025 when Tom Ingram claimed the Drivers' Championship. Based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, the team have developed a fierce reputation for consistently fast and reliable Hyundai i30N Fastback machinery. Ingram remained their spearhead throughout their Hyundai era before the operation transitioned to new machinery for 2026. The VERTU Motors sponsorship has given the squad significant commercial backing, and the team's data-led approach under team principal Justina Williams has seen them become one of the best-resourced teams on the grid. With multiple championship wins across different categories, EXCELR8's move into BTCC has been one of the success stories of the past decade.
